This article describes the tasks that were fixed in Cumulative Update 2 for Microsoft System Center 2019 Service Manager. This article also contains instructions for installing this update.
When you install Windows 7 on a new system, it usually takes years for updates to be downloaded and therefore constantly rebooted. Microsoft no longer offers Windows 7 Handy Rollup 1 (SP1), which mostly works with Windows 7 Service Pack 2 (SP2). You can reinstall hundreds of updates at a time with one trusted download. But there is one catch.
This service pack that merges updates prior to February 2011 is not generated by Windows Update. If you are installing Windows 7 from scratch, you will also need to download and install it. If your Windows doesn’t, Update will download the updates and install them one by one – the slowest and most painful method.
Here’s how you can download and install the rollup for your city so you don’t have problems servicing it.
Step 1. Install one service pack if not already installed
